Australia have decided not to bid for the 2034 World Cup. Smart move as there's no way we could compete with $Audi Arabia.

FMD, a World Cup in Saudi Arabia, what a barrel of laughs that's going to be.
Still, better than hosting it in six different countries à la Uruguay-Argentina-Paraguay-Spain-Morocco-Portugal 2030.

I will be in Saudi Arabia or Kuwait in March for a few days. I’m actually looking forward to it and would seriously look at attending a WC there

We are diabolical.
China are hopeless and look like peak Spain against us

We have a superb gameplan.
We pass it around outside the box for 3mins and then give it up

Comfortable win in the end but we were playing the easybeats of our group.
Need to play much better against Japan next if we want to get anything out of it

We are pretty much off to the World Cup!
Wasn’t pretty but an injury time winner against Japan almost seals passage to next years big dance.
Dependant on other results we could be through later tonight

And we have done it.
Got bossed around in general play but hit them twice on the break for a great 2-1 away win and punched out ticket to the Cup

I have a passing interest in soccer at the best of times, but I caught the highlights this morning.
How blatant can the cheating be by a ref? First off the rescinded red card, then the penalty that was awarded for a "foul" outside of the box...
