Pretty much went as expected. I went out last night and went to do a SGM and the game started as I went to submit and of course every leg got up.

It doesn't really change anything, Sydney are still one of the top 3 contenders, Hawthorn on the next line.

As the loss frustrates me. I was pretty happy as a supporter with what i saw. Hawks just out worked us in the end; we looked cooked in the last. Full credit to them.
Some poor decision making in the last was costly too. We also slipped back into old habits by just bombing it 99% into our forward line.
What pleased me was our game style. It holds up, just needs to get better at when to slow it up when needed.
Seeing Mills pissed off was also good in his post-match interview. Showing it means something and we won't accept rubbish.

One of the better games over the last couple of seasons, really enjoyed it

On that performances you would expect both clubs to be well in the Rex in 2026
