That's a disgraceful effort by Glenelg. Yes, it was only a trial match, but they were representing the SANFL and as the #2 SANFL team should NOT be losing any games to a mid-ranked VFL team - considering we are constantly reminded by the SANFL and our Adelaide media that the SANFL is easily the strongest competition in Australia after the AFL....

What's the point in arranging a trial match against an interstate club if you're not going to take it even slightly seriously,
should have just played against a SANFL team. :roll:

They included lads from the South East who are in their squad and who will probably start in the reserves, god forbid they look at strengthening ties to their country zone, when it is 3.5/4 hours away. Some clubs are fortunate they have country zones within 1 hour. Also managing some injuries to some senior players.

From a business sense they will probably get a handful of new members!
