Do you know what happened to JAL?
They were basically signed sealed and then I think Covid may have hit, but there's been no talk of it since.
I believe the government are still in chats with JAL and Air India to add both Tokyo and Delhi to our list. JAL has had some fleet issues and financial stress like most airlines and decided around Covid to trim back some routes and halt expansion until things picked up so I’d imagine they would still be weighing up the numbers. Maybe waiting for Mail to update the subsidy offer

My family just got back form 3&1/2 weeks in Japan last week. Loved it and missing it already!

China Eastern adding Adelaide to Shanghai flights 3x weekly from mid 2026.
