He’s just not old enough to be kicking/catching a footy yet.

But yes it does look expensive, for some reason.

The reason Junior soccer is so expensive is because the fees cover the senior side. No senior soccer player has to pay fees

Really? Wow. That seems incomprehensible to me

That’s ridiculous.
It should be the other way round if anything.

I pay $700 for my son and apparently the club he plays for is one of the cheaper ones. I always assumed that the fees were so high because of the FFSA.
Fingers crossed it's his last season ;)

My boy plays for Modbury Vista and has since he was 4, he's now 15.

We pay about $195 a season which covers all ref fees, registration etc.

Vista have Federation teams in JPL and also the EDJSA (Elizabeth and District Junior Soccer Associations.) and the SAASL (SA Amateur Soccer League).

All ages pay fees including the seniors.

In the EDJSA there are teams from, Gawler, One Tree Hill, Munno Para, Elizabeth, Salisbury, Para Hills, Athelstone, Modbury, Tea Tree Gully, the Barossa...

A lot of these teams have development squads for those under 5 years of age...
