I believe Vessali was one who pulled out at 5pm on Thursday, not sure who else did? The selection committee then decided to bring in the H.Valley ruckman who was not in the initial squad instead of a couple of big guys that missed out but were in the first squad and trained on Tuesday...

Cheers Repp, Did hear they brought Browny in......... pretty poor not giving blokes who have trained with the squad then dropped Tue the week of the game an opportunity to step up.......possibly they weren't ruckman?

If the above is correct another case again of the SFL choosing to ignore the constitution to suit it's own purpose or interpret the constitution incorrectly??
Personally I believe on those who want to play should play, however the SFL have set the standard in the previous seasons with penalty for non attendance.. What has changed this season??
Well, given Browny's return to form after a long layoff with a knee, I'd have picked him in the initial squad anyway, but that could be a biased decision But given that Vessali dropped out, if the other guys weren't ruckmen, then pretty logical.

well well well hardly a surprise another loss for SFL. Whats the go when are we gonna beat them? I looked at both squads and thought this was our chance. Anyone at the game can give me a report. Good players poor players etc.

A great day of footy in all grades, As for the main game I thought that GSFL were just quicker with the movement of the footy but to the SFL boys they pressured well and made a game of it with big Ohagen after half time causing issues forward but for me best afield was Sam Alexopalooooouuus.
