Good work Pup! The FC likes to take things a little too seriously.

Hey FC, telling people they have no idea!

Ok my mistake.

A simple i do know what he meant and its personal would have been enough i would have thought rather than the roll of the eyes and the no idea comment.

I can understand the reasoning behind most of the rules but I don't get what's so wrong about bumping posts. A while ago I posted that the Kat would be our next test opener and I can't see the harm in adding to an old thread with new comments as that topic becomes..er..topical again. Surely that creates less work for mods than multiple threads on the same subject.

btw, just like to say to all the mods that you are doing a top job and that this site is the best moderated forum of the many that I post on.

Because you get the occasional clown on here who might just want to have their name us "Last post by...." and flood the board with all topics with current topics getting shafted down the page or onto the next one.
Its a common sense thing though hence why I said "We don't normally..."

The Mods do do a great job, Im very grateful to them.
We tend to get more positive feedback than negative (and the negative feedback is usually from dills) and the growth of the site is testament to the great job they do.
Well done Mods! :D

Take your pick....

Wedgie wrote:
- material which is obscene or offensive or links to sites/pages that are obscene or offensive. This includes material that is sexually explicit, shows violence or gore, or is otherwise offensive as determined by the moderators.

- nonsense posts or vandalism, this includes any posts that the moderators or Site Admin deem to be making this site look unprofessional.

- troll posts (posts intended to be offensive or ignorant, setting off a large and pointless argument)

If a topic in the moderators/admin's opinion will just promote the same posts, the same arguments as a previous post or is just rehashing a previous topic (especially a topic that's been deleted already) it will be deleted or locked.

- any of the above rules are all sujbect to the no 1 rule: Site Admin and moderators reserve the right to edit or delete any post as they see fit, rest assured if a moderator is seen to be abusing his position a warning will be issued and further abuse of their status may result in them being stripped of that status. If Im seen to be abusing my position as Site Admin then advise me of your opinion and if a majority of users agree with you we will see if someone else can take over the job.

well, it's certainly not obscene or offensive, a lot of posts are nonsense, so ban them all!! and i don't think it was trolling, I just made a witty observation. and people laughed.
