Interesting the Seacliff has it but its neighbours (Vic and Espy - same ownership) don't. We often go to the Seacliff for breakfast, might need to have a dark ale with my scrambled eggs next time!
Off to the Vic tonight so hopefully they might surprise me

How did you find the food at the Seacliff?
We were regular dinners there for years but the last 2 years or so its become very very ordinary to the point we don’t go anymore

Breakfasts are pretty good, Espy is our 1st choice but we do go to the Seacliff for something different, we find it good but to be honest the main reason we go is we get 40% off so we can have a great feed, coffee and juice for about $30.

Yeah fair enough too.
Since becoming a Woolies pub they have definitely taken the 40% off the quality of the food and service also.

You find the Woolies pubs change staff more than you change your Reg Grundys?
The Hendon change managers about every month it seems, the only staff who hang around are usually the miserable bastards who nobody can stand.

I can see the Vic from my back door, would have loved to have lived here in the 90's
Woolies pubs are hit and miss, not sure we would go there much if we didnt get the discount.

Went into the local grabbing supplies yesterday and seen that now there's a Hard Orange. Guy said it tastes like sunkist and just slides down. Not too bad.

I had a couple of my golden Ales and then copped a random dark ale stubby. Perfect closer.

Won $250 voucher for cbco brewing
The gold is an easy drinking beer. Just a meh drink.
Trying a tropical sour at the moment and actually rather refreshing at the moment. Enjoying it more than I thought. It was a last minute addition.

Perfect ice cold Coopers Pale weather.
Picked up some 440 ml cans for $55 a carton at Star liquor recently. They have very good specials.
