Yup, always been ok with Gaz but his virtue signalling and need to stamp his opinion over everything has quickly become annoying AF. #BringBackRobbo

He's the modern day version of Don Scott.

Full of himself, believes the game was so much better in his day, and has zero relevance to the current style of play.

I do enough complaining when I watch Essendon play without having to listen to him as well.

This cycle kills me!

******
AFL media "why are people so robotic in their answers, it's all rehearsed and boring"

next thing....

AFL media ask Chris Scott for his honest opinion on something

Chris Scott says what he thinks

AFL scorn him

Chris Scott next time he's asked for his honest opinion on something goes into robot mode

AFL media "why are people so robotic?"

Or atlernatively the media will talk up "characters" in the game when a player over-celebrates a basic gimme goal at an unimportant time of the game or when players dress up as American gangsta wannabes.

But heaven forbid a considered, thoughtout opinion - media have to decry that or they will get in trouble with their commie overlords.

In the wake of the Butters debacle.
I hope all clubs make sure the players say nothing in interviews at the ground. They add 0 anyway. But a whole lot of "no comment" responses would make Ch7 and Fox go knocking at HQ doors demanding they sort theit 5h1t out....

Gerard Healy for mine, in a canter, too.

Should be removed from commentary duties ASAP, and stick to being a talking head, if not removed completely from the footy landscape.

Dated theories around footy, constantly gets player's names wrong, and is a whiner.

Just, no.

On SEN last night he said f***** not maggot with no filter when talking about Lance Collard

Tom Morris of all people had to give an apology a minute later

Abbey on friday night interviewing Smith and waving the clipboard at the producer who was probably telling her to wind it up but she let Smith talk about the events of the week etc. That was outstanding and the producer should be sacked.

Radio ratings released recently. Staggers me how SEN survive with their low listening base. Get beaten by ABC Melbourne in most slots. I know there's plenty of moderate to left leaning people in Melbourne who value their ABC but market share for SEN is incredibly low. Truck load of money from Vic Racing (Harness, horses dogs etc) perhaps?

5AA drive shift... Reminds me every time of The Late Show skit mock ABC TV promo jingle of "We're Still Number 4" alluding to the fact they're number 4 in tv ratings and embracing it. Guess that is what 5AA does with Rowey and Tim in their drive slot.

Do SEN get money from people downloading their podcasts? Does the listening base include those that download the podcasts?

Yep if you listen to The Sounding Board with Hutchy he explains it quite often, their podcasts are where they get their listeners. I know I haven't listened to their live radio for years but will listen to podcasts almost daily during footy season
