One I really like at Wyong tomorrow, race 7 Harry The Thief

Two starts, two wins. I’ve been on both and it’s been very impressive

Currently $8, I thought it would be close to even money.

Ventured out to the Echuca races today.

Free entry, following on from 18 holes (of shit golf) on a beautiful afternoon.

Noticed yesterday, Peter Moody had a few runners entered. Thought he wouldn’t bring them all the way from Cranbourne for no reason.

Arrive on course 15 minutes before the 1st. Race books available from the the race day office. I make my way around, turn the corner, and there’s an old bloke whacking away on a dart out the front… it’s Moody.

Echuca is a long way from Royal Ascot big fella!!

Moody horse won the 2nd and payed $9.. cheers Pete!

VALE Gytrash
Gytrash took trainer Gordon Richards and connections on an amazing journey. His biggest win came in the Group 1 Black Caviar Lightning Stakes at Flemington while he was placed in a William Reid, Newmarket Handicap, and twice placed in the Goodwood at the top level.

Today’s card at Morphettville is the best I’ve seen in over 20 years.

Good crowd on hand.

I had a great day on the punt, that's for sure.

I stayed in the owner's lounge for only about 30mins, it's well past the winning post with a shit view. Great facilities, just in a shit spot.

Diva lounge it was, can't go wrong in there, especially when the weather is good (some great viewing ;) ) Sat with some connections of Mr Brightside, they conceded it might be over, great people, good laugh.

Waller and Maher very down-to-earth approachable blokes.

Also, the second JMac got on course (straight after the first race) he went out on course and walked up and down the straight must've been 8-10 times to find the solid part of the track, if you look at all of his rides he basically brought them all 3-4 wide to find that ground, and the results speak for themselves.

Hardest part I find is the jockeys who are the top end of SA talent and in form become mid of the road plodders when the interstate stars come across.
