Forgot to add, Ohtani's award is his 4th, all of them have been unanimous, only player to do it more than once.
He's also now outright second all time for most number of MVPs, behind the 'roid tainted Barry Bonds.

White Sox get the #1 Overall pick in the draft.
I look forward to them trading him in 2 years time and him becoming an All-Star at another organization.

He'll look good in Dodger Blue. Speaking of, free agent reliever Edwin Diaz signs with the good guys for 3 years/$69M

Dodgers land the top free agent of this off season, Kyle Tucker, on a 4 year, $240M contract.
Even I'm willing to admit this is getting out of hand now...

Exactly why Ohtani deferred so much money....

Snell & Diaz have deferred money, wouldn't be surprised if some of this is deferred, too.
Apparently the Dodgers made the entire Ohtani contract money back this season. One of my boys went to Japan late last year, said he's not surprised because Ohtani is
everywhere in Japan

Well, Japanese New Balance stores have designated Ohtani
floors, so I'm not surprised!
First billboard he saw when he got off a plane in Osaka was Ohtani
