Might be a good crowd tonight. The Hope Inn is pumping. No signs of trouble tonight although a lot of alcohol has been consumed, a very jovial atmosphere with lots of singing. No issues from me tonight :)

Sydney 4-0
Sydney bigger and stronger over the ball.
Adelaide are a rabble

11800 in attendance tonight.

Wasn't a bad experience and thankfully the weather held off

Melbourne City have today announced that Head Coach John van’t Schip has resigned with immediate effect.

The 53-year-old will return to his native Holland to contribute to the palliative care of his Father.

Michael Valkanis has been appointed interim first team coach with immediate effect while the Club conducts a search for a permanent replacement for van’t Schip.

How was the flick on from Serg!
Not a bad goal from a defender. Not surprised at that result, City are a bunch of overpaid pea hearts

City have talent, but their coaching has been ordinary pretty much since day dot and if the leader of your team in Fornaroli then that says a lot.

Being in Melbourne decided to buy a ticket and see the great Tim Cahil for the first time. Entertaining match thus far. CC down to 10 men with an early red

Nup, there was about 10 of them at the pub. Didn't stop one from abusing the staff till I stepped in.
It was frustrating that the Mariners gave up home ground advantage to help the game in Canberra but good to see the sauce bottles still made it. :D

I'm managing to piss all the AU wankers off at our pub by insisting the women's footy stays on the TVs.
The bar staff are on my side

Just looked at the score for United at home againat perth... just a lazy 5 nil to Perth. How the mighty have fallen huh... i know there were a lot of exits over the off season but seriously, too to bottom and really haven't ever looked likely... what is happening?

Missed my first United game in a couple of years on Friday night. Brilliant timing in hindsight.
